Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated dentist to join our team as an Associate Dentist, Private Dentist, or General Dentist. This role involves delivering comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a well-equipped clinic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed examinations of patients’ teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues.
• Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Restore, extract, and replace diseased or decayed teeth.
• Design bridgework, fit dentures, and provide appliances for missing teeth.
• Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and other dental treatments as needed.
• Write fabrication instructions and prescriptions for denturists and dental technicians.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs.

Requirements

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry from an accredited institution.
• Licensure by provincial or territorial dental authorities in Canada.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Valid malpractice insurance and eligibility to practice in Canada.
• Strong knowledge of dental software, such as Dentrix or Epic.

Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses

• Provincial or territorial dental licensure.
• Ongoing commitment to professional development through recognized courses and memberships.

Skills and Experience

• Exceptional diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and staff.
• Experience in pediatrics is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
• Proficiency in restorative and cosmetic dental procedures.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekday and weekend shifts.

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary: Up to CAD $200,000 per annum, based on experience.
