Website Nouveau Care
Nouveau Care is a well-established homecare provider supporting people across Norwich and Norfolk to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. The service is committed to delivering consistently high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong regulatory compliance and focusing on positive, meaningful outcomes for the people it supports.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across Norwich and Norfolk. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Home Care Assistants play a vital role in supporting daily living, building trusted relationships with service users, and ensuring care is delivered in line with care plans and company values.
Home Care Assistants will provide practical and emotional support to service users in their own homes, following personalised care plans and risk assessments. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, medication support where trained, meal preparation, mobility support, and household tasks, as well as offering companionship and reassurance. The role requires accurate record keeping, clear communication with the office team, and prompt reporting of any concerns, changes in needs, incidents, or safeguarding issues to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. Applicants must have a caring, respectful, and professional approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting people to remain independent in their own homes. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential, alongside a willingness to complete training and follow safeguarding policies and procedures. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as travel between service users’ homes is required.
Nouveau Care offers a salary of £25,000 per year, with mileage paid at 25p per mile. Working hours follow a European shift pattern of 7 days worked in every 14-day period, providing a structured and predictable rota with plenty of paid overtime within Working Time Regulations. The role also includes paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities for career development within a supportive and professional team.
This is an opportunity to join a values-led organisation that places dignity, independence, and high-quality care at the heart of everything it does. You will be supported through comprehensive training, regular supervision, and ongoing development, while being part of a team that is passionate about delivering compassionate care across the local community.
