Are You a Suitable Candidate for Our Norwich Care Jobs?

We’re always looking for experienced candidates for our care roles, but if you’ve never had a job in care it’s not a problem! We’ve had some brilliant candidates from retail, customer service, childcare and especially direct experience of unpaid care work.

What we’re really looking for are people with patience – good listeners who will pick up on the ‘little things’ and know when something is wrong.

This is why parenthood is also a good background for care work!

You’ll need to take a DBS Check since you’ll be supporting vulnerable people. Having a conviction might not necessarily rule you out, but each case will be considered on its own merit. Honesty is the best policy, however!

We’ll provide all the necessary training free of charge, but you’ll start earning quickly. In care work training is always ongoing, and you’ll start with basic mandatory training then complete your Care Certificate within 12 weeks.

As a home care assistant, you will have access to college qualifications such as Level 2 Health and Social Care. We have links to City College who provide our apprenticeships and we also facilitate qualifications via distance learning.
