We are currently seeking a skilled Locum Dentist to support the practice with ongoing patient demand and ensure continuity of care.

Role Overview
As a Locum Dentist, you’ll provide a full range of dental services with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction. The role requires a compassionate and skilled professional capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with support from experienced dental nurses and reception staff. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the practice’s strong reputation in the Tower Hamlets community.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general dental procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, and preventative treatments

• Provide clear oral health advice and build strong rapport with patients

• Accurately record clinical notes using the practice’s digital systems

• Follow GDC, CQC, and practice-specific policies and procedures

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of care

• Uphold the practice’s commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred service

Essential Requirements

• Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)

• Professional indemnity insurance

• Previous experience in NHS and/or private dentistry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to compliance and high standards of clinical care

Preferred:

• NHS Performer Number (preferred but not essential)

Skills and Attributes

• Confident in delivering a wide range of general dental treatments

• Familiarity with digital dental software and charting

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Friendly, adaptable, and organised

Working Hours
This is a flexible locum opportunity with shifts to be agreed in advance, based on your availability and the practice’s needs.

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive daily rate between £450–£500 depending on experience

• UDA-based pay model available with negotiable targets
