Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Field Care Supervisor to oversee and support our care team. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care are maintained and that our clients receive consistent, reliable, and high-quality services. This role involves supervising care staff, conducting assessments, and liaising with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction and well-being. There will also be an element of hands-on care provision for this role. Visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise and support a team of domiciliary care workers, ensuring they provide excellent care and adhere to company policies and procedures.
– Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of care provided and address any issues or concerns.
– Perform client assessments and reviews to develop and update personalised care plans.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records of care activities.
– Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for care staff.
– Act as a point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
– Participate in the recruitment and induction of new care staff.
Requirements
– Previous experience in a supervisory role within domiciliary or residential care.
– Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
– Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in domiciliary care.
– Strong organisational and leadership skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Skills and Experience
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
– Proficient in using care management software and other relevant IT systems.
– Empathetic and compassionate nature with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
– Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
– Experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans.
Working Hours
– Full-time position, typically 39 hours per week.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as required to meet the needs of the service.
